Wood furniture is susceptible to excessive moisture, severe cold and dry heat. It is best to keep it in a climate controlled space. Be sure to use felt pads on any surface that comes in contact with the surface of your wood furniture. Use cloth placemats rather than plastic to avoid damage. Never use harsh chemicals or any kind of abrasive on any wood furniture. Do not allow spills to dry on the finish and avoid placement in the direct sunlight, in front of radiators, air ducts or fireplaces. Always dust with a clean dry cloth, and use high quality polish made specifically for furniture.
To prevent fading, avoid placement in the direct sunlight. Rotate cushions and pillows regularly to distribute wear evenly. Vacuum weekly to prevent permanent soiling and abrasion caused from dust, crumbs, etc. Use the brush attachment to avoid damage to the fabric. Do not leave newspapers or other printed materials on upholstery as ink transfer may occur. Clean spills immediately following the suggested spot cleaning method for your fabric. Always test in an inconspicuous area first.

Always use a matching mattress and foundation to insure long service and comfort. Many mattress sets have residual odors from the manufacturing process. It is not harmful and will dissipate quickly. Use of a high quality mattress pad is advised to keep the mattress clean and stain free. Stained mattresses are not warranted. Body impressions are normal and not considered a warranty issue unless the impression is in excess of 2 inches in depth. It is best to rotate a one sided mattress end to end periodically. A two sided mattress should be rotated end to end and flipped as well. Be sure that a center support is used on all queen and king size mattress sets. Without a center support, all warranties are invalid. Never bend or fold your mattress.
